Additional Information

UBCM Comments: The UBCM membership endorsed resolution 2001-SR3, which in part called on the provincial and federal governments to work with local government to “develop airshed management plans to reduce emissions and to protect public health.” UBCM also notes that more generally members have consistently endorsed resolutions seeking to reduce emissions (2010-B83, 2010-B84, 2010-B86, 2007-B33, 2006-B27, 2005-B28, 1991-B21, 1990-B38).
