Kyle MacDonald is a first term councillor with the  City of Dawson Creek.  Kyle has sat as a board member of the National Canadian Scottish athletic federation, currently sits as director of the Northern BC Crime Stoppers board, and also sits as a director on the South peace Crime Prevention Association board in Dawson Creek. He was an active participant with the provincial Community Action Initiative and sat at the table of Dawson Creeks Community Action Team.

Kyle has been married to his wife Gillian for 17 years.  They have three amazing daughters aged 16, 13 and 10 who are active members of many youth activities in Dawson Creek including the Mile Zero Figure Skating Club and the Dawson Creek Seals swim club. 

Kyle is a dedicated father and family man. He has competed in and judged Scottish Heavy athletics for over 12 years.  Kyle is also a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys riding throughout the beautiful Peace Country.  

Kyle and Gillian have owned and operated the two Tim Hortons restaurants in Dawson Creek and the Tim Hortons in Chetwynd BC. In this capacity they have been able to support many great community groups including the Chetwynd and Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundations, The Chetwynd Chainsaw Carving Competition and multiple youth activities and sports associations.
