Betty Anderson
Appointed Regional Representative
Betty Anderson is a second term (non-consecutive) Director for the Cariboo Regional District. She represents East Chilcotin, Area K, which is west of the Fraser River. Betty has lived in the area of Cariboo Chilcotin most of her life. She is Vice Chair of the Historic Steering Committee for the CRD and also is a representative on a UNBC committee.
Previously Betty has worked doing Social Work for mostly First Nation Communities in the Cariboo Chilcotin. Betty also did Real Estate in the area. Family are close by which is important, living in the Williams Lake area. She has previously had Ranches and horses but now has just dogs to care for.
Betty has a good understanding of the issues and needs of the people she represents and has a good knowledge of the whole Cariboo Chilcotin. She has served on other Boards and Committees in the past.
It is an honor to be the appointed Regional Representative for the Cariboo Regional District on the NCLGA Board.
