Greetings from Prince George and the Regional District of Fraser Fort George where I am proud to represent Area G on the Regional District of Fraser Fort George.! Prince George is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh.
In 2008, a twist of fate led me to the Town Council of Tumbler Ridge. This unexpected step ignited a passion for local governance, taking me through multiple Council terms and a term representing Electoral Area E in the Peace River Regional District.
Beyond local governance, I've been an active voice in FCM Standing Committees, focusing on Rural, Northern, and Remote matters, Community Safety, and Environmental Issues. My advocacy extended as a Director at Large for the Union of British Columbia Municipalities and with the North Central Local Government Association, championing the northern and central regions of our Province.
My commitment to community welfare is evident through my involvement with the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Services as both a Trainer and Responder. During provincial emergencies such as floods and forest fires, I've served on the Provincial Mobile Support Team.

Educationally, I've pursued Social Work (NLC/UNBC), Emergency Management, and more from the Justice Institute of BC. My journey, rich with experiences in Victim Services, Emergency Management, Libraries,and Chamber of Commerce naturally led me to Local Government. Currently, I work with Carrier Sekani Family Services as their Culture Competency Coordinator.
The past 15 years have been a vibrant tapestry of service and learning. I'm eager to see where the next chapters lead us.
